Thank You, Jesus.
Thank You for Your mercy, for Your patience, for Your favor and grace.
You said, “Do not despise the days of small beginnings,” and I don’t. I love it here. It is not perfect, there is a lot of work to be done, yet…
Here in this place, I am more in awe of You than ever.
I am sitting in the impossible, made possible by You.
Your presence opens doors. The sweet aroma of You in us identifies us as Your children. Flawed, but determined to live a life that honors You above all, whatever that looks or, worse, feels like.
This feels like heaven on earth to me, even with all of it’s imperfection.
Every morning I wake up wondering if I am dreaming.
What an incredible first week it has been, bumps and all. I cannot wait to see where this path goes.
It’s been a very humbling realization of why God told us to wait for as long as He did. I did not get it then, but I get it now.
We were not ready for the life we wanted. We had some things to learn, some behaviors to adapt, some changes to make. We also needed to allow Him to do His way, not ours.
God opened doors where none should exist. I am beyond grateful for this opportunity and for the endless possibility it represents with Jesus at our side.
We simply weren’t ready then. We truly are ready now.
God always knows.
He is always right.
My tomorrow is safe in His hands.
Thank You, Jesus.
For all You have done, for the people You have brought, for all You will continue to do.
Thank You, Jesus.
Thank You.
“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of Lords. His faithful love endures forever. Give thanks to him who alone does mighty miracles. His faithful love endures forever.”
Psalms 136:1-4 NLT
